Internal stamps on plain ware produced in Arezzo. These stamps are dated on: Campanulate cup and slightly later forms. There is not enough evidence to indicate whether or not the different readings indicate any change of status or chronological progression, except insofar as the earliest form recorded (Consp. B 3.10) occurs with the reversed word-order (type 5) and might indicate servile status. But this is only one piece! More »
